DISPOSAL

DOWN THE TIRED PATH
She wends, burly sack
On her shoulder.

               It's a heavy load,
               Those deboned limbs
               And dried ears,

               Decomposing as
               She goes along her way
               To the disposal center.

               It's a tough job
               Being the youngest daughter
               Of a human-bun maker.
